M+D Properties, affiliate of M&D Regional Center (MDRC), has had numerous meetings with NBBJ Architects and City Officials of Buena Park to thoroughly go over plans for "The Source". M+D Properties and its Partners envision "The Source" to not only be a new vibrant mall for the City of Buena Park, but to be a mall like no other in the Southern California Region.

In an effort to promote "The Source", M+D Properties attended the Real Estate Convention in Las Vegas. A booth was set up to promote the "The Source" and efforts were made to start spreading word that "The Source" will be arising soon.

Global Retail Real Estate Convention

This week M+D Properties along with its Partners, attended the Global Retail Real Estate Convention (RECon) in Las Vegas, Nevada. RECon is the largest retail real estate convention in the world, and this year hosted over 1,000 exhibitors and 30,000 shopping center professionals.

This annual three-day event provides ideal opportunities for professional peers to meet and exchange industry news and information. RECon serves as an excellent meeting place for the retail real estate community, and thus is ideal for networking and business deals. ISC estimates that roughly 50% of industry deals are conducted or conceived of during RECon.

Daily seminars, presentations, roundtable discussions, and RECon Academy courses all provide the latest business education for veteran and incoming retail groups alike. Gatherings such as the nightly receptions and cocktail parties allow attendees to circulate and network. M&D Regional Center and its Partners hosted one such cocktail party.
