The Wilkinson Group

The Source team has been meeting with The Wilkinson Group, the marketing consulting firm that signed on recently with M+D Properties. The Wilkinson Group is working on developing revenue-generating strategies for the Source, and has submitted a list of potential events and their projected revenue for our team and NBBJ to evaluate. Items on the list include events such as music performances, competitions, and tradeshows. If NBBJ and the Source team determine that these ideas are feasible, then they may alter their designs accordingly.

Ubiquitous Consultants

Members of the Source team have also been interviewing ubiquitous consulting firms such as Buro Happold, Syska Hennessy and Samsung. These potential consultants will be expected to provide specialized IT services and propose creative technological ideas to integrate into the project. The Wilkinson Group will be working with the Source team on the final selection after the interviews.

Pre-Construction Preparations

Once the negotiations have been finalized, the team will proceed into the design development stage. In preparation for this, they will be selecting consultants to work on graphics and exterior facade design.

Also being considered are pre-construction firms, such as Bernards and Morley Builders. The pre-construction firm selected will be expected to help the Source team in making estimates for the total construction cost. The team is currently working on reducing the cost by producing value engineering ideas.
